SCAT -2203 is used for the Partial to Full non selective hydrogenation of Refined Vegitable oils such as Palm, Soya, Rice Bran, Cotton seed, Mustard, Rapeseed, Corn, Sunflower, Coconut, and Canola. SCAT – 2203 is used for relatively fast and non selective hydrogenation to attain lower Trans products. It is used for hydrogenation of refined oils to produce edible products such as Vanaspati Ghee, Bakery Shortenings, Margarine etc

This is a well-dispersed Nickel Catalyst, on a siliceous support, protected in fully hydrogenated refined vegetable oil, produced by a dry reduction process.
Poison resistance, good reuse properties and good filtration characteristics is the main features of this grade.
